William Bradford Rosson (b. Aug. 25, 1918, Iowa-d. Dec. 12, 2004, Salem, Va.), U.S. Army officer, was a university graduate who entered the Army in 1940. He fought in ten campaigns with the 3rd Infantry in North Africa and Europe during World War II. At the age of 25, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions at Anzio, Italy. William Raymond Peers (b. June 14, 1914, Stuart, Iowa-d. Apr. 6, 1984), U.S. Army officer, was commissioned in the Army in 1938.
